Using the site

ComparePicture is free to use for personal and commercial work. You do not need an account. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site or use it to break the law.

Your pictures and your exports

The pictures you compare stay yours and stay on your device. Exports — images, reports and animations — are generated in your browser and are yours to use however you like.

Measurements are estimates

Similarity scores, change classifications, alignment, text recognition and quality metrics are computed estimates. They can be wrong, particularly on unusual pictures, small text or heavily edited images. They are not forensic findings and must not be presented as proof of authorship, authenticity or manipulation.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the people who run it are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its results.

These terms may be updated; the version on this page is the one that applies.
